MAXIMUM HOLE SCORE FOR HANDICAP – NET DOUBLE BOGEY
The World Handicap System and the USGA have implemented NET DOUBLE BOGEY which sets a maximum number that a player may post on ANY hole. This is calculated as follows:
Double bogey + handicap strokes a player receives based on their Course Handicap
GWGA 9-HOLE | MONDAY CLINIC SCHEDULE – 9-HOLE PLAY
“Drink of the W eek” “ Drink of the Week ” – Every Monday will include a specialty cocktail crafted by one of Glenwild’ s Bartenders. The “ Drink of the Week ” will be presented in the GWGA weekly emails prior to each Monday ’s event. We encourage participants to sign up prior to all 9-hole events and note if they would like that week’s complimentary cocktail. June 6 th Irons| Scramble 9-holes 3:30 – 4:00PM Consistency is key in iron play and developing a set-up routine is the best way to accomplish that. 4:00PM 9-hole Scramble format. Each player plays a shot from the purple tee box. The group will choose the drive that has ended in the best position. From that spot, all players will play again, once again choosing the ball that has ended in the best position. This is continued until the ball is holed.
June 13 th No Clinic | 9 & 18-Hole Mixer 4:30PM
The 9 & 18-holers will join together for a 9-hole Scramble format. Each player plays a shot from the purple tee box. The group will choose the drive that has ended in the best position. From that spot, all players will play again, once again choosing the ball that has ended in the best position. This is continued until the ball is holed.
June 20 th Driver| Scramble 9-holes 3:30 – 4:00PM Increase your club head speed and confidence through coaching and driver fitting. 4:00PM
