2022 Golf Book

PRACTICE RANGE Practice balls are available for all golfing Members and their playing Guests. Practice Range hours will vary based on the time of year with the range opening 30-minutes before the first tee time. Please practice from designated areas as this will assist in the perpetuation of a quality tee area. Practice balls are for use on the practice facilities and should not be used on the golf course for any reason. STARTINGTIMES Members are able to make advanced tee times online or by contacting the Golf Shop up to seven days in advance. When booking a tee time please advise the Golf Shop in advance of all Members and Guests in your group, so the golf staff may make all necessary arrangements (caddies, rental clubs, etc.). If your plans have changed and you are unable to play during the booked tee time, kindly notify the Golf Shop as soon as possible. REGISTRATION To ensure the accuracy of your charges, please register with the Starters in person each time you play golf at Glenwild. Upon registration and prior to teeing off, the Starter who will be responsible for facilitating your group’s access to the golf course will record your guest names, number of holes you will be playing, and if you will walk, take a caddy or ride in a golf cart. TIPPING POLICY Glenwild Golf Club and Spa is a NOTIPPING facility. We strive to provide the finest service possible to all Members and their Guests. PLEASE INFORM YOUR GUESTS OFTHIS POLICY. As a no tipping facility, it is imperative that ALL Members and Guests adhere to this policy to ensure a consistent level of service. Tipping is permitted for caddies, as they are independent of the Club.

CLUB FITTING Club fitting utilizing Trackman technology is available. Fittings are available in two levels.

FULL FITTING This is a comprehensive look at your full game, from the putter through the driver. The process takes approximately 2 hours. Players will be fitted for:

PUTTER: WEDGES:

Loft, lie, and length.

Loft, lie, length, and bounce angle.

IRONS:

Loft, lie, length, shaft flex, and composition. Swing and ball speed are measured.

DRIVER:

Loft, lie, length, shaft flex, and composition. Swing and ball speed are measured, launch angle, and ball spin rates are identified. Recommendations made to help select the ball that performs best based on the player’s launch conditions.

BALL:

SPECIFIC AREA FITTING This is a comprehensive look at any one of the areas listed in the Full Fitting. The process takes approximately 45 minutes.

BAG STORAGE Bag Storage is available to all Club Members at their option. This service includes cleaning after use, in-out service, and storage. The annual storage fee is $200 per Adult size bag and $100 per Child size bag. Daily storage is also available at a cost of $10 per overnight period. All members leaving bags on a continuous basis will be billed the daily storage rate until they accumulate $200 in charges.
